Affluence Ranking is a list of countries that aims to compare economic performance of all economies based on available data on GDP (nominal) per capita in multiple years. The score of each country is calculated according to this formula:
S = 2.5*log(G/100)
S: score
G: average GDP (nominal) per capita of all available years from 1980 to 2020
The following list of countries shows how economies are ranked based on their living standards measured in all years with available data from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) between 1980 and 2020, instead of economic performance in only 1 year. The list helps compare the affluence, or how wealthy citizens of countries are in relation to other countries.
